Summary

The Pharmacy Technician fills unit dose carts, admixes intravenous fluids, checks inventory levels, delivers medications, answers the telephone, replaces medications to the ancillary departments, replaces night cabinet medications, par levels pharmaceuticals, processes reports, receives pharmaceuticals from wholesaler(s) and manufactures and places them in the proper location, checks crash carts, and inspects nursing stations and family care centers. These activities are collaborated with the appropriate disciplines.

Current Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
