Lead Teacher/Full-Time/Days

Summary

Fulfills the responsibilities as a Lead Teacher within the assigned class and age group at the Early Learning Center. Serves as contact person for parents to discuss the progress of their children in the program.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development or bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Special Education or related field with a minimum of 12 credits in Child Development or Early Education. Minimum of two (2) years experience in a childcare setting/Pre-K classroom/facility. Childcare Credential 1 and 2 from North Carolina. North Carolina Early Educator Certificate - Level 8. Experience in curriculum implementation, classroom management and arrangement, staff training and model superior teaching skills. Must successfully pass DHS Criminal History Check and all subsequent annual checks as required. Current SIDS, Playground Safety, BSAC, CPR/First Aid and Fire Safety Training.
