Summary
The Staff Pharmacist provides the professional knowledge and skills related to Pharmacy Practice to assure that the patients receive quality and safety in pharmaceutical care. These activities utilize the hospital mission as a focus and guidelines established by the Division of Pharmaceutical Care to accomplish this goal. The Staff Pharmacist prescribes, delegates, and coordinates pharmaceutical care based upon the patient's diagnosis, age, dietary, and physiological and psychological needs. These activities require collaboration with other members of the health care team to provide optimal care.
Possess a current license to practice Pharmacy in North Carolina and have one year hospital Pharmacy experience or at least five years retail/community experience.
